Find out what US candidates think about science issues

Top US science and engineering networking and lobbyist groups have joined forces to create a questionnaire for elected officials and candidates to assess their views on the nation's most prominent science issues.

You can view and compare the answers from presidential hopefuls Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain here: http://sharp.sefora.org/innovation2008/compare/race/president/2008/.

So far, 85 Congressional candidates also have filled out the questionnaire.  See their responses by going to www.SHARP.SEforA.org and selecting a state.  Candidates that have answered are in green.

The Innovation & the Elections 2008 questionnaire is a joint effort by Science Debate 08, Scientists and Engineers for America, and eighteen of America's top science and engineering organizations, representing millions of scientists, engineers, and citizens across the country.
