The arrow of time does exist because the universe is "created and destroyed" every 10 to the minus 43rd of a second. Since the universe is created, destroyed, recreated there is no going back in time. We do not live a space:time comtinuum but a space:consciousness. Consciousness is pat of the physical fabric of the universe. It is the observer funjction. Even in a lifeless universe the consciousness / observer collapses the wave function. Time measures the pulse of the universe = the Planck constant.
