He also has a new book out (it's been out in the UK for over a year) about his childhood and life. He made no effort to hide the raw emotion behind his lyrics and music during the show, and it was an amazing performance all around, featuring readings from the book by his bandmate. (An audiobook of that bandmate reading the book is also now available.) Hopefully he'll come back to the area soon...
